Eminence Education Foundation, Inc.

Eminence Education Foundation Grant Form

In 1991, a group of concerned citizens in the Eminence Independent School District began plans to establish an educational foundation. After more than a year in the planning process, the Eminence Education Foundation, Incorporated was founded in 1992. The purpose of this foundation is to provide funding for projects that will enrich existing curriculum and encourage innovative educational projects within the Eminence Schools. A Board of Directors that are citizens of the community and independent of the school system runs this organization.

Over the past nineteen years, this organization has funded numerous teacher grants and student scholarships totaling over $100,000.00 dollars. These grants have helped to enhance the Kentucky Educational Reform Act (KERA) and to supplement the academic resources provided to teachers. No funds shall be expended for salaries or administration and one hundred percent of all funds are returned directly to classroom teachers for use in educational programs that directly impact students.
The foundation has one major fund raising event each year with a Dinner and Silent Auction. Local merchants donate items for the silent auction and bids are received throughout the evening. To purchase tickets, call 502-845-4788.
We are very pleased with the response by the community to support this very worthwhile organization. Our success has occurred because of the commitment to this school by the Eminence community. Anyone wishing to receive additional information about this or any educational programs may contact Buddy Berry, Superintendent of the Eminence Independent Schools at 502-845-5427 ext 4031. Thank you for your generous support of this organization and the Eminence Independent Schools.
To excel, every child needs a good foundation.
