Ms. Christiansen teaches 9th and 10th grade English, Read 180, and high school Drama. She is a 2003 graduate of Centre College, with a major in English and minors in Theatre Arts and History. She gained her teaching certificate from the University of Indiana, Bloomington in 2008 and is currently pursuing her Master's of Arts in Humanities with a concentration in Medieval and Renaissance studies at the University of Louisville.

Ms. Christiansen taught for four years at Carroll County Middle School before joining Eminence High School in 2012. She has been a member of the community of Eminence since 2009, when she joined the cast of the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Faire as Lady Sersha Fraser. In 2013, Ms. Christiansen began directing the "Minions of Mischief," a cast of area teenagers who perform improvised and scripted shows at the Renaissance Faire during June and July each summer. She loves reading, clothing history, and pirates.
