                       March and April Science News

Students are learning engineering and design standards from www.nextgenscience.org. They will be doing a number of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities in class about matter, simple machines, and forces.

Major Targets of Study:

I can make observations, ask questions, and gather information to solve a problem.

I can conduct an experiment to test how magnets move through matter.

I can analyze data from experiments to come to a conclusion.

(Think about ways magnets can be used in real life scenarios)

I can make a sketch or drawing to show how simple machines move.

I can measure distances of objects using ramps of different heights.
